FAQ's
What is Lampworking? TOP
Lampworking is an ancient technique of using flame to melt and manipulate glass into shapes and objects, in my case, beads. It is also known as flameworking or torchworking. In ancient times the method to melt the glass was an oil-fueled lamp which is where the name came from. Today flameworkers use oxygen and propane to melt the glass.

Please note that beads and jewelry in the photographs are enlarged to show details. I try my best to match the colors in the picture to the beads in my hand, but different monitors may cause the colors to vary. All beads are kiln annealed for durability and holes cleaned. Annealing assures the beads will strong, but please keep in mind that these are glass beads and may break if not treated with care.
